Our Fees

Hawthorn Medical and Wellness Hub is a mixed-billing practice. Children under 16, aged pensioners, eligible concession card holders, and Veteran Healthcare cardholders will continue to be bulk-billed.

Patients are responsible for paying the difference between the fee and the Medicare rebate. If you have a valid Medicare card, we will process the rebate on your behalf.

To be eligible for Medicare rebates for telehealth appointments, patients must have had a face-to-face appointment with our doctors at Hawthorn Medical and Wellness Hub within the past 12 months.

Our practice offers direct billing with several insurance providers, including Allianz, Bupa, AHM, NIB, and Medibank.

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without a minimum of 3 hours’ notice will incur a non-refundable fee of $20 for a short appointment and $40 for a long appointment.

  2. OR the patient is under 12 months;
  3. OR the patient is experiencing homelessness
  4. OR the patient is actively quarantining with COVID 19
